„Die ErfinderInnen des MiaschBurgers stammen aus dem AK MiaschBurger der Wirkstatt Oberland e.V. . Wir sind eine bunte Vereinigung von engagierten Menschen, die sich für sehr pragmatische Lösungen beim Thema Nachhaltigkeit im Landkreis Miesbach einsetzen.
Im Rahmen des Klimafrühlings 2019 veranstaltete die Wirkstatt einen Wettbewerb für den besten vegetarischen Burger. Aus 13 TeilnehmerInnen prämierte eine prominent besetzte Jury die besten Burger.
Nach dem Erfolg beim Kulinarischen Abend beschlossen wir, das Projekt MiaschBurger weiter im Landkreis zu verbreiten. Dazu suchten wir uns Partner und entwickelten zusammen das Konzept.
Die Pflanzerl werden in größeren Mengen von den Oberlandwerkstätten Miesbach vorproduziert und an Gastronomie geliefert, oder in gefrorener Form an den Biotop-Hofpunkt in Lenggries. Die Zutaten sind 100 % biologisch und stammen aus der Region, d.h. maximal 80 km Entfernung.“
